4.27. Engine assembly order

Before starting assembly of the engine, make sure available all necessary details, materials and tools to which number the following belongs:

• Standard set of the metalwork tool;
• Dynamometer key with the drive on 1/2 inches;
• The tool for putting on of piston rings;
• The tool for a staving of piston rings;
• Short pieces of a fuel hose for putting on on hairpins of covers of conrod bearings;
• Measuring Plastigage set;
• Set of probes of lezviyny type;
• File with small tooth;
• Fresh motive oil;
• Assembly motive or lubricant on the basis of a molybdenum disulphate;
• Pro-masonry sealant;
• Sealant for fixing of threaded connections.

For saving of time and minimization of volume of the arising problems you make assembly of the engine in the following order:

• Piston rings;
• Bent shaft and radical bearings;
• Conrod and piston;
• Back epiploon of a bent shaft with the holder;
• Soyedinitelny Bridge of covers of radical bearings;
• The oil pump (see Removal, service and installation of the oil pump);
• The case pallet (see Removal and installation of the pallet of a case);
• Heads of cylinders (see Removal, check of a state and installation of a head of cylinders);
• Camshafts and components of the valvate mechanism (see Removal, check of a state and installation of components of the valvate mechanism);
• Gas-distributing belt with cogwheels (see Replacement of a belt of the GRM drive);
• Covers of a gas-distributing belt (see Replacement of a belt of the GRM drive);
• The inlet pipeline and final collectors (see Removal and installation of the inlet pipeline and Removal, check of a state and installation of a head of cylinders);
• GRM covers (see Removal, check of a state and installation of a head of cylinders);
• Driving disk.
