2.6.6. Emergency towage of the car

Towage has to be made strictly according to traffic regulations and respect for standards of the local legislation. The detailed instruction on rules of towage can always be received at company car repair shop Infiniti.

Precautionary measures

At all finding of passengers in the towed car is not allowed!
Do not make any actions under the car lifted by the tow truck at all!
During towage transmission, bridges, elements of a suspension bracket and the transmission line have to be as it should be, otherwise all wheels of the car have to be torn off from the earth!
At towage without separation of wheels from the earth the transfer case has to be transferred to one of operating modes 2WD, 4N/AUTO or 4LO!
Before towage check reliability of fastening of safety chains!

Release of the got stuck car

At release of the got stuck car the towing cable has to cling only to the eye which is specially intended for this purpose.

The eye is intended only for a car pulling from dirt, sand or snow and should not be used at towage on a long distance without the corresponding insurance.

Remember that at a pulling of the got stuck vehicle very high loadings fall on a towing eye. You watch that the direction of a tension of a cable always was parallel to car DP, do not allow a cable tension at an angle.

If you are not driving during a car pulling from dirt, you keep from it at safe distance.

When jamming try not to allow provorachivaniye of driving wheels with a high speed — it will lead only to a bigger deepening them during dirt / sand / snow.
