9.8. Removal and installation of the main brake cylinder (MBC)

Removal

- Disconnect a negative wire from the battery.
- Disconnect an electrical wiring from the sensor switch of level of brake fluid.
- Remove a plastic cover, by means of the syringe or a rubber pear pump out from the GTTs tank as the bigger amount of brake fluid is possible, then establish a cover into place.
- Disconnect from GTTs and at once to a zakuporta brake lines.
- Release fixing nuts and remove GTTs assembled with the tank.
- In case of need remove the tank from the main cylinder.

Installation

- Installation is made as it should be, the return to an order of dismantle of components — track reliability of tightening of fixture. In conclusion pump over the brake system.
- Connect hydraulic lines and an electrical wiring of the sensor of level of brake fluid to the tank.
- Further installation is made as it should be the return to an order of dismantle of components.
- In conclusion fill in the fresh DOT 3 brake fluid in the tank, pump over a hydraulic path (see Pumping of a hydraulic path of the steering drive) and execute adjustment of a pedal of a foot brake (see Replacement of blocks of disk brake mechanisms of forward wheels).
