4.12. Removal and installation of the pallet of a case
Order of tightening of bolts of fastening of the pallet of a case
Removal

- In case of need remove airintaking sleeves both the top and lower sections of a radiator.
- Remove protection of a case of the engine.
- Remove from the block of cylinders the steering pump assembled with the basic arm.
- The car also establish to Poddomkratta it on props (see
the illustration Scheme of an Institution of Props for fixing of the car in the lifted situation).
- Empty the cooling system (see the Head Routine maintenance).
- Merge motive oil (see the Head Routine maintenance).
- Turn out bolts of assembly collars of a bar of the stabilizer of cross stability.
- Disconnect the forward driveshaft from the holder of differential.
- Turn out bolts of fastening of power shafts.
- Disconnect a hose of removal of air traffic jams from the holder of forward differential.
- Remove a basic arm of forward differential.
- Remove a starter.
- Give nuts of an arm of fastening of transmission to a back part of the engine.
- Give nuts of fastening of support of a suspension bracket of the power unit to a car frame.
- Remove basic arms of the steering pump and a bar of the stabilizer of cross stability.
- You will hang out the engine from above on the winch and disconnect reception pipes of system of production of the fulfilled gases from final collectors.
- Turn out bolts of fastening of the pallet of a case of the engine. Having filled the special tool (J-37228) in a gap between the pallet and the block, and tapping on it with the hammer, cut a layer of sealant and lower the pallet.

In order to avoid damage of the interfaced surfaces or deformation of a flange on try to podrychazhit the pallet mount or the screw-driver by no means! Try not to touch with a cutting torch the case of the oil pump and the holder of a back epiploon of a bent shaft! |
- Pick up the maslozaborny phone with a sealing ring and finally dismantle the case pallet.
- Take epiploons from the case of the oil pump and the back holder.

Installation

- Dry wipe the internal surface of the pallet. Check a landing flange for existence of signs of deformations — in case of need make its rikhtovka.
- Lay in a reception flute on a sealing surface of a flange a pillow of sealant of round section with a diameter about 3.5 — 4.5 mm — track that sealant kept within from the inside of bolted openings.
- Grease with sealant both end faces of epiploons in places of contact them with the case of the oil pump, the back holder and the pallet.
- Accurately press the pallet to the engine block.
- Screw fixing bolts and, working in strictly certain order (see the illustration Order of Tightening of Bolts of Fastening of the Pallet of a Case), in stages evenly tighten them with the required effort.
- Installation of the remained components is made as it should be, the return to an order of their dismantle — track that all fixture was tightened with the required effort. You make filling of the engine with oil not less than 30 minutes necessary for sealant hardening later.
