Check of hydraulic pressure of GUR

Do not block the locking valve of the manometer more than for 15 seconds at the working engine! Do not hold a steering wheel in extreme provisions more than for 15 seconds!


 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Check serviceability of a condition of a pulley and correctness of adjustment of a belt of the drive of the steering pump (see Adjustment of effort of a tension of a belt of the drive of the steering pump).
  2. Modify properly pressure of a rating of tires.
  3. Disconnect a hose of the line of a high pressure from the steering pump, establish a transitional nozzle of KV48102500 (J26357-10) between the pump and the steering mechanism, having connected to it the KV48103500/ST27091000 (J26357) manometer (see the illustration Check of Hydraulic Pressure GUR).
  4. Completely open the locking valve and remove from system air traffic jams (see Pumping of a hydraulic path of the steering drive).
  5. Check the level of hydraulic liquid in the tank of the steering pump, in case of need make the corresponding adjustment.
  6. Start the engine on single turns for warming up of the GUR hydraulic liquid up to the temperature of 60 — 80 °C.

The engine has to work at completely open locking valve in order to avoid excessive temperature increase as a result of rise in pressure to the maximum level.

  1. Lift engine turns to value 1000 in a minute and make measurement of pressure, having quickly turned a steering wheel from an emphasis against the stop in both directions.
  2. If as a result of check the maximum nominal rate is reached (see Specifications), therefore, the system functions normally. At excess by result of measurement of the maximum value check serviceability of a condition of the valve of management of a stream of the steering pump. If the indication does not reach the upper bound of admissible range, slowly block the locking valve and repeat check, rise in pressure to the maximum level testifies to malfunction of the steering mechanism, otherwise believe the steering pump — do not block the locking valve longer than for 15 seconds in a row.
  3. Disconnect the manometer, remove a nozzle and restore initial connection of hydraulic lines.
  4. Pump over a hydraulic path of GUR (see Pumping of a hydraulic path of the steering drive).
  5. Check the level of hydraulic liquid, in case of need make the corresponding adjustment.
